We are excited to announce the opening of Vanguard Truck Center of Austin’s new $4.5 million truck dealership!
Designed with a heavy emphasis on driver comfort and convenience, this state-of-the-art facility opened its doors in June 09 with a Grand Opening celebration in October. Amenities include a spacious, modern driver’s lounge complete with wide screen TVs, recliners, free showers and a laundry room, as well as high-speed Internet access and work cubicles. Abundant trailer parking and a full 80-foot truck washing bay is also available. “In the facility design, as well as how our personnel have been structured, we’re set up for quick service,” said Tom Ewing, president of Vanguard Truck Centers. “We’re appealing to transient drivers, and whether they’re here for preventive maintenance, elective repairs, or necessary service, we offer quick return of their trucks. We know they need to get back on the road quickly, but while they’re waiting, we’ll make them as comfortable as possible—they can do laundry, take a shower, or just relax in the lounge.”
Situated directly adjacent to our previous property, the new facility is conveniently located with easy on and off access to I-35, just south of Austin. With a service department capable of anything from QuickLube service to engine rebuilds and a parts warehouse and inventory system that utilizes the latest technology to ensure we have the parts you need, when you need them, we are well equipped to handle all your trucking needs.
