On October 29 Volvo Trucks announced the new Xceed fuel efficiency package for Volvo VNL 760 and VNL 860 models operating in dry van and refrigerated trailer operations. The new package will be available for order beginning in January of 2019 for 2020 models.
Volvo states, “The Xceed fuel efficiency package improves fuel efficiency by up to 11 percent when compared with Volvo’s Fuel Efficiency Plus specification. Xceed is 3.5 percent more efficient than the Fuel Efficiency Advanced specification, which was Volvo’s most efficient offering prior to the new Xceed fuel efficiency package.”

Vanguard Truck Center of St. Louis is moving to serve you better. We are currently working on a 12,000 square-foot renovation to house a new full-service Mack Trucks Facility. The new service facility will be located at 940 Harmsted Court in St. Charles, Missouri. This site will give Mack customers much easier access, especially for those traveling the numerous interstate corridors around St. Louis and west of the Mississippi River. It also allows us to provide you with better service and more modern amenities.
We are now offering Eaton Commercial Truck Transmissions Remanufactured by DEX Heavy Duty Parts. We like the idea of making more Eaton transmissions available to hardworking fleets, owner operators and repair facilities that want maximum productivity from their vehicles.
