Vanguard customer Dan McBride with Ranger Ready Mix has purchased a total of 30 Volvo VHDs in 2019 & 2020. Duncan Parrish, truck sales professional at Vanguard Truck Center in Austin, worked with Dan and the Susan G Komen Foundation on this special purpose unit. It will be on display at the World of Concrete in the Volvo Trucks of North America booth.
In addition, Dan has pledged a $1.00 donation for every yard of concrete that this truck pours this year. He estimates there should be about 1,000 yards a month, totaling a $12,000.00 donation to the Susan G Komen Foundation in Central and East Texas.
This 2020 model VHD64B300 Concrete Mixer features a Beck Industrial mixer body on it and all painted Susan G Komen Pink. “We look forward to seeing everybody at the World of Concrete Volvo booth this year,” says Duncan.
