Greensboro NC Open House 2024
Earlier this month, Vanguard Truck Centers in Greensboro opened its doors for an exciting Open House and Customer Appreciation event, showcasing the latest trucks. The event was a huge success, attracting over 200 customers, vendors, and employees who came together to celebrate Vanguard’s ongoing commitment to providing top-notch service and vehicles.
The open house centered around the latest models from Volvo Trucks North America and Autocar Truck, with special attention on the all-new Volvo VNL. Displayed in all four exterior packages—Core, Edge, Edge Black, and Ultimate—the trucks drew positive reactions from attendees, who were excited to see the new features and designs. The feedback we received from customers on the new Volvo models was overwhelmingly positive, solidifying Volvo’s reputation for quality, innovation, safety, and design excellence.
Among the notable guests were Will Blue, CFO and COO of Vanguard; Jeff Lester, Regional Vice President of Volvo Trucks; and Magnus Koeck, Vice President of Marketing and Strategy at Volvo Trucks.
Attendees were given a tour of the entire Greensboro facility, which included the sales and leasing departments, a spacious 10,000-square-foot parts warehouse, and a 19-bay service shop. The tour provided guests with an insider look at dealership operations, showcasing the company’s dedication to quality service and support for its customers.
No celebration is complete without good food, and the Greensboro Open House did not disappoint! Guests enjoyed delicious pork and smoked chicken prepared by Vanguard’s very own smoke masters, Kevin Lareau (Charlotte Parts Manager) and Brannon Moore (Hickory Service Manager). For those with a sweet tooth, the Mr. Cone ice cream truck served up endless sundaes and ice cream cones, making it a favorite attraction throughout the day.
In addition to the great food and networking opportunities, guests had the chance to win some fantastic prizes. The prize drawings included Vanguard-branded Yeti coolers, JBL speakers, and gift cards. To top it off, every guest walked away with a swag bag filled with Vanguard water bottles, key chains, snacks, and a stylish All-New VNL t-shirt.
The Greensboro Open House was a testament to Vanguard Truck Centers’ commitment to its customers, partners, and employees.
